Fiberglass Grating Project Information:
The city of Lodi, CA was constructing a new pumping station at one of their marsh areas. The station was outdoors and would be exposed to the elements of the areas. American Grating’s 1-1/2” deep, 1-1/2” square mesh molded fiberglass grating was used for the walking surface and the stair treads. The light grey color of the fiberglass grating matches well with the equipment in the pumping station. The fiberglass grating around the pumping station is also slip resistent and corrosion resistant. The 'Safety Yellow' Access Cover utilized American Grating’s 2” deep, 50% open pultruded fiberglass grating because the spans required a stronger fiberglass grating as interior supports were not possible.
